The capital of the Upper Normandy. The town has been developing since the Roman time.

The cathedral, began in the 12th century, is the finest example of the French gothic style.

Its façade is famous because it was painted many times by Claude Monet.

The old city with its 700 old timber framed houses lies the northern bank of the river (La Seine).

We will pass trough the picturesque St Romain street to one of the jewel of the Gothic- Flamboyant style, the St Maclou church.

We will also visit one of the last plague cemetery, l'aître Saint Maclou, Saint Ouen church, the Court House of the 16th century, the Old Market square and the Gros Horloge (the must popular building in Rouen).
